Requirements:
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date you arrive.
- At least 2 empty pages in the passport for stamps.
- A return ticket or proof of your next destination (immigration may do random checks).
- Enough money to cover your stay.
- Payment for the VOA fee (either cash or card is usually accepted).
*) Note: Temporary passports, emergency travel documents, or travel documents issued by a different country cannot be used to obtain the free short visit visa.

Restrictions:
- The VoA cannot be converted into a temporary stay visa.
- Nationals not listed for VoA or Visa-Free Entry should obtain a visa prior to departure from the nearest Indonesian consulate.

How to Extend Your Visa on Arrival
Loving Bali so much that you want to stay longer? You can extend your Visa on Arrival for another 30 days. You just need to apply for the extension before your 30 days are up.
How to Extend:
- Visit the local immigration office or use MPG Visa Services (so you don’t have to worry about paperwork).
- Submit your passport and pay the extension fee (IDR 850,000).

Don’t Overstay!
It is important to avoid overstaying your visa in Indonesia. The penalty for overstaying is IDR 1,000,000 (USD 65) per day. If you overstay for an extended period, you may face more severe penalties, including possible deportation or a ban on re-entry.
