Bali has introduced a brand new International Tourism Tax of IDR 150,000 effective February 14, 2024.
The announcement was made in September 2023 by the Balinese authorities, who stated that the fee would be put towards sustainable tourism development and cultural preservation.
The government also stated that the measure is aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability for the island’s unique ecosystem, cultural heritage, and infrastructure while enhancing the overall visitor experience.
- Amount: IDR 150,000 (approximately USD 10)
- Applicability: All international visitors entering Bali
- Effective Date: February 14, 2024
- Payment Options: Convenient online payment via the Love Bali website or app
