As of 3rd July 2023, the Indonesian government has announced that the Onshore B211A Single Entry Visa will no longer be available to foreigners in Indonesia.
What Does This Mean For Foreigners In Bali?
With onshore applications now no longer available, all foreigners in Bali and Indonesia must apply for an Offshore B211A Single Entry Visa.
With this visa, you’ll get 60 days in Indonesia. It can be extended two times at 30 days each. To activate this visa, you’ll have to leave the country and return through official entry points.
Existing Onshore Visa Holders
All existing Onshore B211A visa holders can continue to extend their visa at the Bali Immigration office up to two times. This process must be done manually and in person.
Do remember that once your onshore visa expires, you’ll have to apply for an Offshore B211A Single Entry Visa instead.
Alternatively, you can apply for an Offshore Multiple Entry Visa. This visa lets you leave and enter Indonesia as many times as you like. Each re-entry grants you another 60 days in Indonesia.
Another option is to apply for a Visa On Arrival if your country is on the approved list for 60 days in Indonesia.
What Is The Onshore B211A Single Entry Visa?
This visa was first introduced by the Indonesian government during the Covid-19 pandemic due to international borders closing.
